Lastly, it is signed; "Hans Trudel 1 x1940".In great condition for its age. Please refer to all photos as they are part of the Condition and Description.Hans Trudel lived in Baden; He worked until the age of 32 as a machine designer at BBC. In 1915 he gave up his bourgeois existence and went to Vienna to the Academy. He trained with Edmund von Hellmer and Vienna was still under the influence of Art Nouveau at this time. Herr von See became a patron of Hans Trudel and Trudel later designed parks for him. During this time he also made woodcuts that caught the eye of Berlin publisher Cassierer. After his time in Vienna, he returned to Baden and lived and worked in the house on the Rain, which today is a gallery.
